LOKI PRO 1.0.8 Update: New Features for Tesla and Rivian Diagnostics

LOKI PRO 1.0.8 Update: New Features for Tesla and Rivian Diagnostics

We continue to develop the LOKI PRO diagnostic scanner, making the work of specialists faster, more convenient, and more efficient. In this update, we focused on solving practical challenges that service centers, EV repair specialists, and automotive dismantling companies face every day.

Let's take a closer look at the key improvements introduced in this release.

Fixed OBD2 Port Unlocking on Tesla Firmware 2026.15.0

The new software version fixes the OBD2 port unlocking function for Tesla vehicles running firmware version 2026.15.0. If you are already using this vehicle software version, we would appreciate your feedback regarding the stability of the feature and the diagnostic results.

Bulk ECU Unpairing

For companies involved in vehicle dismantling and component preparation for resale, we have introduced a new bulk ECU unpairing feature. There is no longer a need to perform the procedure separately for each module. If the ECUs are online and communicating, they can now be unpaired in a single operation, significantly reducing component preparation time.

ECU Pairing Verification

One of the common causes of vehicle software update failures is incorrect ECU pairing. To simplify diagnostics in such situations, LOKI PRO now includes a module-to-vehicle pairing verification feature. It allows technicians to quickly confirm that all modules are correctly registered and ready for further operations.

Improved Certificate Reading on Older Firmware Versions

We fixed the Basic Info section for vehicles running 2022–2023 firmware versions. Certificate data is now read correctly, allowing technicians to obtain reliable information even when working with older software versions.

Rivian EDV Support

The list of supported vehicles continues to grow. The new version introduces support for Rivian EDV electric delivery vans. As a result, LOKI PRO now works not only with Rivian pickup trucks and SUVs but also with commercial vehicles. Detailed documentation for Rivian EDV diagnostics and service procedures will be added to the user manual in upcoming updates.

Unified DTC Error List

Working with diagnostic trouble codes has become much more convenient. The DTC section now provides a single consolidated list of faults from all vehicle modules. Technicians can immediately see the complete picture without switching between individual ECUs. Users who prefer the previous display format can still enable it using the Legacy DTC View option.

Flexible Diagnostic Task Execution

We redesigned the diagnostic task execution mechanism. Some service procedures require tasks to be launched without any parameters. One example is the cgm.enroll_entrydevice task, which is used to synchronize the key list after replacing a Bluetooth module.

Previously, running such procedures was restricted. Now users can decide which parameters should be sent when launching a task. For the most commonly used diagnostic procedures, recommended default parameters are already configured, allowing technicians to start working without additional setup.

Diagnostic Task Parameter Descriptions

Descriptions have been added for the parameters of selected diagnostic tasks. This makes it easier to understand the purpose of each setting and reduces the risk of errors during service operations.

What's Next?

We continue to actively develop LOKI PRO and are already working on the following updates:

  • additional interface language translations;
  • manual vehicle update and software redeployment functions;
  • full software-based diagnostics for Tesla vehicles.

Stay tuned for future updates—more capabilities for professional diagnostics and servicing of modern electric vehicles are on the way.
